Woori Yallock Farm School

We began the day at the Farm School with the completion of course work for the unit Maintain Cultural Places.

We then spent the rest of the day enjoying the sunshine and visiting a variety of sites in the Toolangi and Healesville areas. The students explored various topics including fire management, sustainability, and water.
Our first stop was Mount St Leonard. The students hiked to the observation tower and enjoyed clear views all the way to the CBD.
Next, we journeyed to Wirra Willa Rainforest, where we discovered the biodiversity of the forest including the ancient Beech trees.
Finally, the students stopped at the Maroondah Dam and were impressed by the scale of the wall.
