Woori Yallock Farm School

We welcomed the students to Farm School with some ‘get to know you’ activities.
This was followed by a safety induction and tour of the site. The students toured the wetlands, nursery, and workshop, and learned about the historical and cultural significance of the old school buildings.

Throughout the day, the students participated in the ‘Farm School Olympics’.
This included a range of fun competitions and physical challenges such as the ‘chair game’, ‘hammer game’, and the ‘chicken game’.

In the afternoon, we introduced the students to the Certificate 1 in Conservation & Ecosystem Management.
The students began the unit ‘Work Safely’ by completing some of the coursework in the classroom.
