Woori Yallock Farm School

We explored the theme of Gold.
We began the day in the classroom with a quick lesson on the history of gold in Victoria, its uses, geology and value.
We then got our gold fever on with a trip out to the Upper Yarra area to try our luck at gold panning.

Despite their persistence and efforts, the students were unsuccessful in their search this time… aside from finding some fool’s gold planted by their teachers.
