Woori Yallock Farm School
The day started with a variety of maintenance tasks including clearing debris from the pathways using the leaf blower.
The students also contributed to the unit Support Ecosystem Restoration by assisting with the revegetation of our wetland area. This involved planting tube stock and installing tree guards.
Later in the morning we took a trip to the Chelsea Australian Garden at Olinda. We toured the gardens and appreciated the floral displays and impressive landscape design. We took this opportunity to discuss and identify the range of careers and occupations that contributed to the design, construction and maintenance of the garden.
