Woori Yallock Farm School
The warm weather didn’t slow the students down on their last day of the program. The first activity of involved the maintenance of the chicken coup, involving spreading mulch and grass clippings, and topping up their water in preparation for the hot conditions.
The ducks and chickens approved of our efforts and came out to show their appreciation.
Later in the morning we jumped in the bus and took a trip the Redwood Forest. During our visit we discussed the difference between a monoculture and an ecosystem.
On the way home we stopped into Warburton for a BBQ lunch by the river.
We finished the day at the Farm School with the presentation of the completed certificates.
